SKETCHES BY J. J. WOLFE

In each interrogation/indoctrination chamber, hanging on the wall behind the inquisitors' desk, there was the hideous blood-red Red Chinese rag with one large yellow star and four small yellow stars which we big, bad Capitalistic-Imperialistic Wall Street Warmongers grew to despise more and more with each painful moment.

In this sketch one of those unfortunate ones whom we left behind is enduring another  grueling, long, tedious interrogation session which could last anywhere from a few hours up to days.  Our Colonel Arnold was forced to stand seven painful, agonizing days and nights during one such interrogation session

  "Co-operate or die!"

"Go ahead, shoot!"

"Why have you forsaken us?

Yes, why did we betray, abandon, and forsake them???

The realistic sketches on this page and other pages depicting the bailout, an interrogation scene, and a scene of an abandoned fellow countryman in solitary were done by my longtime friend Joseph J. Wolfe.
